i was killing time during my mid-week lull and got into a little pre-shower makeup, so thought I'd share ^^

the makeup i used was not ideal for face painting at allll - i mostly used lipstick, eyeliner, and a white foundation corrector. I liked doing it so much, though, I'm kind of currently looking into face paints to use when i feel like it. Maybe I'll post more who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

okay i also drew and colored my face this week <3 I never do self portraits, but i felt like she really emulates me and i love her


she is marker and oil pastel on cardboard and I'll probably put her in my bedroom somewhere or something

This was kind of the little project I was referring to in my past post? My initial idea was to use this reference picture and make my face into a 3d paper mache piece or even a mask, but the thought kind of overwhelmed me. I haven’t finished my chuck e cheese project, and have barely started my unicorn project :,) so I guess this idea can wait? Idk that hasn’t stopped me before, we’ll see what happens D:

kicked off the weekend going to my favorite bargain store and got this top. It was $3 and I love it a lot but the front is blank, so naturally I’ll be adding a little something :D I got a plain white spaghetti strap too, but I have plans for that already. (you’ll probably see that next week :3 )

Of course, more hula hooping in the park- I was there for like an hour every day this weekend and it was glorious. I’m walking/hooping like a maniac and I’m much better at hooping on one foot. Maybe sometime I’ll actually learn some tricks and cut it up in the park on the field all summer 

When I got home I flattened some cans for future projects and trimmed the can pieces from the stained-glass inspired Tulip I was working on last week. I thought the pieces being so close together kind of made everything look kind of busy, so I wanted to space everything out a bit instead.

ｔｈｉｓ ｗｅｅｋ： new shirts / sketchbook

I’ll be customizing my new shirts from the discount store this week. I want to do more drawing because these last few pages have kinda felt like duds :/ I’m putting all the cans and such away for now, I think. I kind of thought about trying my hand at a mobile like I had mentioned before, but now I’m re-thinking the whole thing.. .. .. . .. . I’ll check my half-finished project pile and see what calls my name
