So we’ve officially gotten the word: the doors for the mall will be closing October 29th, 2025. ˙◠˙

Saying I'm sad about the mall is such an understatement. I've loved meeting the store owners, shopping around, and even just spending time here. I love this mall. I'll cherish the time I've spent here and the memories I've made. <3
We were told to expect to lose the mall in early to mid-2025, so having to say goodbye at the end of October is pretty lucky, no matter how unlucky it feels.
If you are reading this before the month is up and are close enough to visit: I urge you to do so. There are still plenty of fantastic small businesses that reside in the mall deserving of support. Let’s try to appreciate the parts of the mall still living. <3

Also, if you do end up making a last trip to the mall, try to make it to the karaoke party!! Put on by true appreciators of the mall, you'll be in good company to show some love :-)

I thought I'd share a few videos I found where people share videos of the mall, what the mall used to look like in comparison, as well as personal memories and experiences that took place there.
I'm not always fond of the "dead mall" selling point because I feel that it would sometimes neglect to highlight the still-existing small businesses that are still there- but these offer a nice personal touch that still give insight to the stores, the mall's history, and what it meant to those who visited.
I also found a few old videos of the interior during the mall's busier days.
